Several companies have signed important deals with their partners at the 130th China Import and Export Fair, which also gave them opportunities of promoting brands.
Qiu Fuzhong, director of the department of imports and exports at Ningbo Leshi based in East China’s Zhejiang province, said: “We have received many buyers, including overseas buyers’ representatives in China.”
The company and the buyers mainly reached intentions to cooperate on a variety of products such as washing machines and dryers during the event which was held offline and online from Oct 15 to 19.
Ni Xuemin, director of the international sales center at Zhejiang-based Sunshine Leisure Products, said folding tables and chairs as well as outdoor furniture displayed by the company have attracted the attention of many buyers.
Three of the buyers have signed intentional orders with the company, with combined value totaling $100,000.
“A double-corner chair developed by our company found favor with an enterprise from the United States,” said Ni, adding that the buyer’s Chinese representative office placed an intentional order for nine containers of the products.
Ni said they need to further communicate with the US company to confirm the order.
Longstar New Material Technology based in Northwest China’s Shaanxi province, which provides Christmas articles, including Christmas trees, for overseas markets, also benefited from this Canton Fair session.
Bian Linna, business manager at the company, said that they got five orders worth a total of $150,000 at the beginning of the event.
